The fall season is one of Virginia’s best. (Really, all of them are great in the Commonwealth.) In fact, SmithsonianMag.com just tossed us a bone with their “Eight Places to See Amazing Fall Foliage Outside of New England” article. Yes, world, there is stunning fall foliage in places besides Vermont.
Number one on that list of eight is Charlottesville and Jefferson’s home just to the east of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park.
